This is a bourbon drinkers rye for sure! Carmel, honey, and some nuttiness on the front with some rye spice and pepper on the finish. It drinks well below the stated 118 proof and is an enjoyable sipper.
Rye spice that moves into dark fruit notes on the mid-pallet, followed by and oak and pepper finish. Deeper flavors and oak coming from that added age. She's a smooth sipper that you can enjoy all night!

This is classic Makers Mark but cranked up several notches with more complexity. On the palate I get orange rind, honey, caramel, clove nutmeg and dark chocolate. If you like Makers Mark or classic bourbon flavors, you’ll love this.
