It’s a great pick again by the WCWC. I actually bought this for my wife (wink). She loves maple finish whiskeys. Crème Brûlée perfectly describes the richness from this pour. I love proof as well since the wife likes her whiskey with ice; it holds up well.

Honestly it drank a little hot for me. I got more double oaked notes, than I did from the maple brulee finish. The oak was nice but was expecting something sweeter I guess. After a week open I drinks a bit easier now still not finding the finish I expected. Not bad by any standard. The name/finish and taste just don't match up for me.

Big, bold pour with tons of toasted oak, caramel, and vanilla. Sweet up front, spicy on the back, and the high proof makes it really pop. Delicious pick. Does not drink like it's proof, smooth with long finish.

This is a bourbon drinkers rye for sure! Carmel, honey, and some nuttiness on the front with some rye spice and pepper on the finish. It drinks well below the stated 118 proof and is an enjoyable sipper.
Rye spice that moves into dark fruit notes on the mid-pallet, followed by and oak and pepper finish. Deeper flavors and oak coming from that added age. She's a smooth sipper that you can enjoy all night!
Purchase was simple and easy. Delivery was timely. Looking for an occasion to crack it open. Maybe a Friday would be a great occasion!
